Current stock

Available = Current stock − Minimum required stock. The minimum required stock is the buffer you always want on the shelf — set it in the column below (admin). A negative available figure (red) means you've dropped below your minimum.

Add project requirements

Record what an upcoming project needs. The system takes what it can from available stock (reducing current stock) and adds any shortfall to that project's supplier order below.

Supplier orders to place

One order per project. Shortfalls from project requirements appear here automatically. Review, then generate the email to copy & paste to your supplier. Saving an order lets you check it off under Deliveries.

Outstanding sheets

Sheets ordered but not yet received, by order. These are still due in from the supplier.

Orders

When a delivery arrives, open its order and enter how many of each line turned up. Received sheets are not added to stock — they're assigned to the job. Anything sent in error can be flagged for return.

Returns

Sheets sent in error, awaiting return. Tick one off once it's gone back to the supplier.

Sign material out of stock

Record sheets taken from stock ad-hoc and assign them to a job. This reduces current stock immediately and shows under the job in Stock Use.
